Kick-off New Ski-Lift-Fear Season Training Sessions in October 2014
One in five winter sporters is afraid in a ski-lift. Fear is the reason why, of this group, many do not go on a winter sports holiday. The fear-of-ski-lift training sessions that we started in 2013 have proved an enormous success. After two successful sessions with a 100% success rate the VALK Foundation organises monthly fear-of-ski-lift training sessions as of October 2014. Do not miss it, sign up now!
Many winter sporters experience fear of steep slopes and ravines, or possible technical defects of ski-lifts. Some even stay at home for this reason or are afraid to ski once they have reached their destination. The VALK Foundation organises the fear-of-ski-lift training sessions in a joint project with Snowworld Landgraaf and De Nederlandse Ski Vereniging. Participants follow a two-day therapeutic program.
They are informed about the technology of chairlifts and their safety regulations. The training session starts at 11.00 am on Saturday and ends at 17.00 on Sunday. The costs: 405 euro per person based on a double room. Lunches, fondue-dinner and overnight stay in a 4-star hotel included.
